The Tik Tok 75 Hard Challenge, Let’s Start Tomorrow

It’s the end of the week, Sunday Night and I’m sat here relaxing having spent the weekend and in fact the past week filling my face with everything from McDonald’s to Subway, Dominos to Ice Cream and everything in between

Realising that of late I’ve let my motivation fully slip away from my self in terms of maintaining the healthy lifestyle I was developing

I was previously down around 45lb but at this point that had gone back to 20lb down

With that it’s time to focus up and get back to grinding towards to weight goal! But not only that it’s time to focus up and improve all aspects of my life

I recently shared some incredible news in which I was able to shed a large part of my debt and I’m now working towards paying off the final £3500 or so that I owe

I’m sure like many people out there I have recently come across a trend on tik tok that had peaked my interest and in fact I have decided to take the plunge from tomorrow and give it a go

The 75 Hard Challenge

A mental toughness challenge that is aimed to focus your mind and body over a 75 day period

I’m going to be using this challenge to help get myself motivated again in terms of losing weight and getting back into that healthy mindset but I’ll also be using this as a foundation to learn, and develop and will be looking to come away from this focused

So what are the 75 hard challenge rules! Well it has 5 of them and I’ll be following all of these though I have tweaked it slightly which I have noted below

The Rule Set:

My 75 Hard challenge

1. Pick a Diet: for this I will be going with if it fits your macros (IIFYM)! I’ll be tracking calories, protein, fat & carbs throughout my journey

2. 2 x 45 Min Workouts (1 x outside): This will consist of 1 x weight based workout at 4am each morning before work, & 1 x 45 min outdoor run around 7pm each evening

3. Drink a Gallon of Water: I’ll be changing this and looking to drink 2.5-3L of water per day as 4-4.5L is a bit excessive to me

4. Read 10 Pages of Non Fiction: Again this will be something I’ll be changing a bit. Now I will try and read some actual books but I will be looking to listen to a lot of books on audible and will set out around 30-45 minutes per day to listen to a book if I am not reading one

5. Take a Daily Progress Picture: This seems fairly straight forward, in fact I’ll be posting a daily photo on my IG page to see how the progress is going (some clothed, some shirtless for comparison).

I’ll be starting the 75 hard challenge tomorrow (Monday 17th May) and I’ll be documenting this through my Instagram, Twitter & via this blog over the next 75 days! In fact maybe longer if I mess up! The rules do state that if you miss a day you have to start over

With all challenges it’s good to set goals and this is no different, I’ve given myself a few challenges to get started and I’ll update these as the days progress

My Goals for 75 Hard

To Lose Weight: I’ll be judging this both with a daily weigh in & with my progress pictures. Ill be aiming to go from 226.1lb (Current Weight) to around 190lb over the course of the 75 days which will be around 3lb weight loss per week

Create a Side Hustle: Over the course of the 75 days I’ll be looking to create at least 1 side hustle as a minimum and will be documenting this

With a rule being to read more i will be mainly focusing on entrepreneurial, money & business focused books on audible to learn and help in creating a side hustle

Grow My Following: I want to focus on growing my social media following especially on this blog and my Instagram (Drage_162)

I’ll be posting daily progress updates on Instagram and will be using the Instagram stories a lot more to interact

Its going to be a tough 75 days! That’s why it’s the 75 Hard & not the 75 Easy challenge

It will involve a lot of focus to get into the routine in the beginning, working at 6am most days and with an 18 month old at home I have to learn to fit the workouts in when I can hence going to the gym at 4am and a run in the evening

This is not only a challenge I want to do to better my fitness but to focus up and create a better lifestyle in all working towards more income streams, becoming debt free, and more

I am rather poor at staying consistent on the blog and that’s going to change going forward with at least 1 post about the 75 hard Challenge per week including a round up of the past 7 days
