My Weight Loss Journey …

Hey everyone welcome back to the blog

It’s been over a week since I last posted a blog, and mainly that was because I was taking some time out, but also I wanted to see how I would fair if I didn’t write my usual Sunday accountability blogs,

This was to see if I could still lose weight, still feel motivated and still feel like I was accountable to my self, and I could

It was another great week with a 1.5lb loss, taking me to over 25lb weight loss so far during this lockdown period, which is fantastic

I am now sitting 3lb away from the 2 stone mark, and I believe that I’ll be able to hit that milestone in the next 2 weeks!!

So what’s been doing on with my routine, and what’s going on going forward

The diet has been very consistent, with my calories sat at 1790kcal per day,

I’ve been continuing the 5.4mile daily walk, this will be interesting to see what happens come next month, as I will potentially be back in work and time will be a bit more limited

This weekend I had a set of dumbbells arrive, I’ve gone for an 8kg set, instead of the interchangeable ones, these will tie me over until the gyms are once again open

So, starting this week I’ll be looking to complete more and more exercise and really kick this weight loss into overdrive

I’ve created 3 routines that I can incorporate into my daily routine, with just the use of resistance bands and a set of dumbbells,

These will consist of

Arms & Shoulders

Back & Legs

Chest & Arms

Not your standard body builder style legs, push, pull split, but a few routines in comfortable starting out with, this of course will progress into larger workouts, or different workouts once the gyms are open and I have the use of more equipment

For now though, that’s everything for today, I do have a few thoughts on the next steps after this period of weight loss, which I’ll be going over in a later blog
